Good news for lovers especially PCSX2 users. Recently [early March] PCSX2 development team has successfully completed and released the latest version of PCSX2 0.9.6. This version is a continuation of the official version of PCSX2 0.9.5 v377.
Many improvements of this version, among others.
- Much faster than previous versions
- Even more games that can be played
- Memory Card is compatible on all games.
- Improvement especially on game Digimon Rumble Arena and Tri-Ace games [Star Ocean 3, Valkyrie Profile 2, and Radiata Stories]
- The use MTGS mode 15% faster on Intel HyperTechnology and 3-5% on DualCore processor.
- The increase in VU / FPU, EE / IOP, & CDVD.
- No longer using the VM [Virtual Memory] and replaced with VTLB [Virtual Translation Look-aside Buffer] So it is no longer the message "Can not allocate memory".
Important to note, updatelah current version of DirectX to the latest version ie minimal or Newest Agustus'09 November'08. This is important because the latest version 0.1.14 GSdx plugin can only work when the current version of the latest DirectX wear.
Tips:
1. Download the file to completion. (7.6 mb)
2. Extract the files PCSX2 0.9.6-MasterPluginsCompleted.zip (recommendation to use program 7 zip)
3. Extract the files PCSX2 0.9.6-MasterPluginsCompleted.7zip (so extract 2x)
4. The results of the final extracted later size is about 44mb.
